NIAGARA FALLS

A trip to Southern Ontario would not be complete without a visit to one of the most impressive and famous landmarks – Niagara Falls. Visit Niagara-on-the- Lake, one of the oldest settlements in Ontario, famous for the War of 1812 between Canada and the United States. The town has been beautifully restored to depict its heritage. Follow the Niagara River, passing the historic sites of the Brock Monument and Laura Secord House, and some of the over 65 wineries.

McMichael Canadian Art Collection
The McMichael Canadian Art Collection is the perfect gallery for an introduction to Canada's art, its peoples, cultures and history. The museum’s 15 rooms, constructed out of hand-hewn timbers and native stone, provide an impressive setting for some 500 works by Canada's most famous artists. Works include the art of the historic Group of Seven, as well as the collection of Native Indian and Eskimo art.

Kensington Farmers’ Market
Kensington Market is Canada’s largest year round Farmers’ Market. Home to a population of approximately 4,000 Old Order Mennonites who farm the surrounding countryside, this destination has been welcoming visitors for several decades. The Market features fresh produce, meats, cheese, baking, crafts, home decor, furniture, clothes, tools and more. Mennonite farmers who travel to market by horse and buggy also sell local delicacies like summer sausage and pure maple syrup.
